    What can you do to help?

    First, pray. We believe God has a wonderful plan for both Lisa and Isabella. Please pray with us that they will be able to stay together, without the disruptive visitations ordered by the Vermont Judge. Pray that God would turn Janet Jenkins’ heart and open her eyes to Isabella’s real needs, which are far greater than her own. Pray for Janet’s salvation. Pray also for godly wisdom for our nation’s leaders, our legislators and judges.

    Second, sign up for our Prayer and Action updates (coming soon). As more information becomes available, we will communicate it with you. We are hopeful that action by Virginia lawmakers will make a difference in this case and set a precedent for others to follow.

    Third, contact your Virginia state senator and delegate and ask them to uphold their oath to defend Virginia’s constitution and all our marriage laws and to rein in activist judges. A Virginia delegates contact list is here, while the senate list is here. Let them know we are aware this is an election year in Virginia. If you don’t know who your legislator is, click here. You may also contact the headquarters of the Bob McDonnell for Governor campaign, and voice your concern.

    Fourth, write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper or call in to a talk radio program in your region. We have a suggested letter you may copy and paste, or feel free to use your own words. Please avoid being arrogant, rude or crude. Just present the simple facts. They are strong enough.
