Obama Birth Certificate Update

The lawyer handling the lawsuit against Obama on behalf of a former presidential candidate (and others) is being a bit tight-lipped over the case. In an earlier discussion, he implied he was going directly to the Supreme Court but that now is questionable. The case might have been filed in California.
Also, he said a single judge will be looking at the evidence to see if there is reasonable cause to continue the case or dismiss it. Personally, this gives me little hope (unless it’s the Supreme Court) for even if this judge gives the case the go ahead, another activist judge higher up the food chain will toss it out (a la Berg).
I understand a birth certificate will clear up all this mess, Just provide the required document. I had to provide one to get a simple passport. What gives?
